A Google volunteer brings technology closer to our students
Jasmine Brown, a volunteer from Google, introduced students to careers in technology and planned a fundraiser to bring Chromebooks to the school.
In 2016, Jasmine Brown, “Ms. J” to the students, came to Coral Springs as a volunteer from Google. She spent time with the students in the computer lab and introduced them to careers in technology.
She also helped build partnerships with Google and planned a fundraiser to bring Chromebooks to the school.
That same year, volunteers came from several countries, including Ireland, Hong Kong and the United States, and shared their experiences with the students.
We are still gathering equipment for the lab. You can support the Computers for the lab cause.
