Notebooks, pencils, crayons and backpacks so no student starts the year without what they need to learn.
In Honduras, families buy school supplies at the start of the school year. For many of our families, who live on a factory wage or farm work, completing that list is a hard expense to cover.
Because our schools start classes in February (Villanueva and El Progreso) and in August (San Pedro Sula), supplies are needed twice a year. With your help, every student arrives on the first day with what they need, and teachers have materials for their lessons.
Your donation becomes:
- Notebooks, pencils, crayons, erasers and sharpeners.
- Backpacks for the students who need them most.
- Paper, card stock and art materials for the classrooms.
You can also donate new supplies in kind: write to us at info@wbkhn.org and we will arrange the delivery.
