Why go
If you don’t want to travel far, San Pedro Sula has two very popular plans. In the morning, the La Coca hike climbs the Merendón mountain to the huge Coca-Cola sign you can see from all over the city. In the afternoon, Angeli Gardens is a boutique hotel on the southern edge of the city, surrounded by large gardens, with a pool, a restaurant and a craft brewery.

Tips for your visit
- Start early, go in a group and bring water: the trail is steep and hot.
- Go on weekends, when there are more people on the trail.
- Ask Angeli Gardens whether using the pool requires a booking or a minimum spend.
